- You can expect to speak a lot! You'll prepare several speeches of different lengths and get feedback from me and your fellow classmates right from the get go.
- All your speeches will be taped so you can have a record of your progress.
- You'll learn and practice all the classic techniques of speaking and the do's and don'ts .
- You'll experience voice and speech exercises and you'll learn the areas you need to improve in to be the most effective speaker .
- You'll spend time delving into your mental and emotional self to help you increase your self confidence and your presence on stage. (This is where we get "meaty" and we separate ourselves from other programs.)
- You'll develop a network of support amongst the other participants.
- You'll walk away with an arsenal of reference materials so you can go back and study the techniques and things you learned.
- You'll even learn a bit about the speaking industry as a business if you want to go that route.
